Physical preparation

Before your stay at the Auberge, don't forget the physical preparation !

 

In order to reduce the risk of injury and enjoy your stay at the Auberge Nordique, a physical preparation before your arrival can be useful.

A few weeks before the start, play sports. Prefer mountain biking, jogging or brisk walking to strengthen your muscles and cardiac system.

Remember to move as often as possible and prefer to walk the stairs to the elevator.

Finally, do not hesitate to maintain your fitness throughout the year, your vacation will be more enjoyable thus.

The levels of difficulty for cross-country skiing

Beginner: you will learn how to position yourself, develop your balance, change direction and control your speed.


Insider: you control the glide and speed on groomed trails, you will discover the change of support and coordination.


Confirmed: You ski on groomed trails, you control the balance, the trajectories, speed and obstacles. You will discover the off-piste skiing and techniques adapted.


Expert: You are confirmed in cross-country skiing, you control the ski slopes and off piste skiing. You control the balance, coordination, the trajectories in every type of snow.
